What are the vibes?
We’re doing things a little differently and having a private courthouse ceremony the day before. Our celebration at Atlanta Utility Works is really just a chill after-party with our favorite people. Casual, fun, and filled with good food, music and drinks! No tight timelines and no stuffiness.
What time should I arrive?
Welcome drinks kick off at 5:00pm, so we’d recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to park and get settled. Traffic can be a very unpredictable during end-of-week rush hour, so give yourself some buffer time and come ready to enjoy the night!
What is the dress code?
Dressy casual. Think something that you feel all dressed up wearing, but still comfortable, relaxed, and ready to eat BBQ and dance! If wearing heels, note that there may be some walking to and from the venue.
Are guests invited to the courthouse ceremony?
We’ll be joined at the courthouse ceremony by our immediate family and closest friends.
Is parking or transportation available?
There is free parking available at the venue accommodating up to 40 vehicles, but rideshare is highly encouraged if you plan to drink. The venue encourages overflow parking at the East Point MARTA station (only a five minute walk away from our venue) or use of the street parking designated in their parking map, located at the bottom of the page.
Where should I stay after the party?
If you don’t want to worry about driving after the party, there are a variety of great hotels in the downtown Atlanta area. We recommend The Westin Peachtree Plaza, Hotel Clermont, and Signia by Hilton.
Are children welcome?
Children are absolutely welcome at the ceremony, but the party will be adults only!
What food and drinks will be available?
Atlanta Utility Works will provide a charcuterie spread for snacking upon arrival, which will include meat and cheese pairings (salami, prosciutto, brie, goat cheese, cheddar, etc), hummus, pimento, nuts, and veggies.
Dinner will be catered by Fox Bros BBQ, which will include pulled pork and chicken, mac & cheese, collard greens, and variety of desserts. If you have any food allergies or dietary concerns, please let us know so we can properly accommodate you.
We are offering an open bar as well as non-alcoholic options such as lemonade, iced tea, and sodas.
